Carpenters and Welders' Responsibilities

• Routine Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of public areas, crew areas, and behind-the-scenes spaces to identify any damage, wear and tear, or potential hazards related to woodwork, metalwork, and fixtures.
• Preventative Maintenance: Execute scheduled maintenance tasks to prevent failures. This includes varnishing railings, treating wood from humidity, checking for metal corrosion, and lubricating moving parts.
• Emergency Repairs: Respond immediately to urgent work orders, such as a broken cabin door lock, a damaged handrail, a loose balcony panel, or watertight door issues, especially during rough seas.
• Interior Maintenance & Repair: Repair and maintain all wooden and laminate structures, including: Guest cabin furniture (beds, desks, chairs, closets), Doors, door frames, and molding throughout the ship , Bars, counters, and decorative wall panels in lounges and restaurants
• Theater & Event Support: Build, repair, and maintain stage sets, props, podiums, and dance floors for shows and events.
• Custom Fabrication: Design and build custom items as needed, such as special signage, storage solutions, or decorative pieces for theme nights.
• Structural Repairs: Perform welding repairs on the ship's metal superstructure, including handrails, stair treads, door frames, and hull support brackets.
• Maintenance of Outdoor Areas: Repair and maintain all metal fixtures on open decks, including pool ladders, sun lounger frames, sports equipment, and tender davits
• Fabrication: Fabricate new metal parts, tools, or fixtures when replacements are not readily available, demonstrating high skill and ingenuity.

Photographers' Responsibilities

• Sales & Revenue Generation: Their core responsibility is to sell photo packages and products. Every interaction is ultimately geared towards driving sales and meeting departmental revenue targets.
• Customer Service: Provide a fun, engaging, and professional experience for guests, making them feel comfortable and excited about their photos.
• Equipment Maintenance: Care for and maintain all professional photography equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting, printers, and the digital kiosks guests use to view photos.
• Embarkation Photos: Pose and photograph every family or group as they board the ship against a themed backdrop (often a image of the ship itself).
• Candid & Event Photography: Roam around the ship during events (deck parties, dinners, shows, casino) to capture spontaneous moments of guests enjoying themselves.
• Photo Editing: Quickly edit thousands of photos daily (color correction, cropping) to prepare them for sale.
• Printing & Organization: Print select photos for display and manage the complex system of organizing photos by stateroom number or facial recognition software.
• Direct Sales: Actively approach guests in the photo gallery to help them find their photos and persuade them to purchase packages, larger prints, canvases, or digital copies.

Requirements

• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Good Overall Health: Excellent vision (correctable to 20/20), good hearing, and a healthy cardiovascular system are standard requirements.
• Cleaning Skills: Attention to cleanliness and sanitation standards
• Teamwork: Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Time Management: Efficient and organized work approach
• Positive Attitude: Willingness to learn ,always smile and take direction
• Valid Passport: Must be valid for at least one year beyond the contract start date.
• Basic Safety Training (BST): Firefighting, elementary first aid, personal safety, and social responsibilities.
• Visa Eligibility: Must be eligible for and obtain any visas required for the ship's itinerary
• Problem-Solving Skills: Both roles must be able to think on their feet.
• Resilience & Mental Toughness: Must be able to handle the challenges of being away from home and family for long periods, living in a small cabin, and working under pressure without easy access to the outside world.
• Clean Criminal Background Check: A police clearance certificate or criminal background check from the country of residence is required for the issuance of a seafarer's documents and visas.
• Drug-Free: Must pass a mandatory pre-employment drug test and are subject to random drug testing throughout their contract.
• Flexibility: Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Note: No formal education qualification required. Training will be provided to successful candidates.
