We are looking for a reliable and thorough Cleaner and Waiters to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain a clean, sanitary, and orderly environment in our facility. Cleaners' Responsibilities

• Bedding: Strip all linens (sheets, pillowcases, duvet covers) from used beds and replace them with fresh, clean ones. Make the bed neatly, often to a specific hotel standard.
• Bathroom Cleaning: This is a high-priority area. Responsibilities include: Cleaning and disinfecting the toilet, sink, shower, and bathtub. Replacing used towels with fresh ones.
• Dusting and Surfaces: Dusting all furniture, shelves, headboards, picture frames, window sills, and any other surfaces.
• Vacuuming and Mopping: Vacuuming all carpeted areas and mopping hard-surface floors.
• Trash Removal: Emptying all trash and recycling bins and replacing liners.
• Glass and Mirrors: Cleaning interior windows and mirrors to be streak-free.
• Maintaining Pace: Work steadily and efficiently, often as part of a team, to meet daily harvesting targets and goals set by the crew leader.
• Stationery: Restocking writing pads, pens, and hotel information booklets.
• Linens: Providing extra pillows or blankets if requested or if the standard set is missing.
• Damage Control: Identifying and reporting any damage to furniture, appliances, or fixtures (e.g., a broken lamp, a malfunctioning TV, a leaky faucet).
• Lost and Found: Reporting any items left behind by guests to the lost and found department immediately.
• Reporting Issues: Alert the supervisor to any problems encountered, such as low fruit quality in a specific area, pest issues, or equipment malfunctions.
• Safety Hazards: Reporting any potential safety issues, such as wet floors, loose carpeting, or faulty electrical outlets.
 
• Respecting Privacy: Knocking and announcing themselves before entering a room, and respecting "Do Not Disturb" signs.

Waiters' Responsibilities

 
• Setting Up: Preparing the dining area by setting tables with clean linens, polished cutlery, glassware, and crockery according to the hotel's standard.
 
• Side Station Stocking: Ensuring their service station is fully stocked with essentials like napkins, clean menus, condiments, coffee, tea, and water.
 
• Menu Knowledge: Having a thorough understanding of the day's menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, potential allergens, and chef's specials to make confident recommendations.
 
• Briefing: Attending pre-shift meetings with the manager or chef to discuss daily specials, menu changes, VIP guests, and any reservations or special events.
 
• Welcoming and Seating: Greeting guests with a warm, professional demeanor as they arrive and escorting them to their table.
 
• Taking Orders: Presenting menus, answering questions knowledgeably, and accurately taking food and beverage orders (often using a point-of-sale - POS - system).
 
• Serving Food and Beverages: Serving courses in the correct sequence, using proper service techniques (e.g., serving from the guest's left, clearing from the right). Ensuring the correct order is delivered to the correct guest.
 
• Checking In: Periodically checking on guests to ensure they are satisfied with their meal and to address any requests (e.g., more water, extra sauce).
 
• Communication with Kitchen (The "Pass"): Relaying orders clearly to the kitchen and bar staff and coordinating the timing of courses.
 
• Team Service: Assisting fellow waiters during busy periods by delivering drinks, clearing tables, or attending to their guests.
 
• Order Accuracy: Double-checking orders before they are served to prevent mistakes.
 
• Processing Payments: Presenting the bill accurately, handling cash, credit card, or room charge transactions securely, and processing tips correctly.
 
• Clearing and Resetting: Efficiently clearing tables after guests depart and quickly resetting them for the next seating.
 
• Cleanliness: Maintaining the cleanliness of the dining area and side stations throughout the shift. Wiping down surfaces, cleaning spills immediately, and ensuring a tidy environment.
 
• Reporting: Informing supervisors of any maintenance issues, guest complaints, or low inventory.
 
• Breakfast Service: Often a buffet setup, requiring focus on replenishing food, managing coffee service, and preparing à la carte items like eggs and omelets.

• Room Service: Requires impeccable tray-setting skills, knowledge of delivery procedures, discretion, and a polite, efficient manner when entering a guest's private space.

Requirements

• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs

• Honesty and Integrity: Trust is paramount, as both roles involve access to guest property, inventory, and financial transactions (e.g., tips, room charges).

• Minimum Age: Typically 18 years or older, especially for roles involving chemical use (cleaners) or alcohol service (waiters).
• Flexible Availability: MWillingness to work weekends, holidays, and early mornings or late nights as required by the business. This is non-negotiable in hospitality.

• Basic Language & Communication Skills: Knowledge of englsh is an added advantage
